Your Location
These positions are open to candidates based in Guinea (one person), Mali (one person), and Cameroon (one person). These three positions are subject to project approval and have an expected start date at the beginning of Q4.
Your role 
We are looking for experienced QA engineers to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.
Our QA engineers are involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential for this position.
Responsibilities

• Analyze users stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with Dev Team, Sales members, and Project Managers using Bitbucket, Jira, Planner, and Teams
• Contribute to user manuals, technical documentation IT policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 5+ years experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance Tester or equivalent

• Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Scrum, Kanban, Jira Atlassian;  MongoDB; Jenkins; Java, Node.js; SoapUI, TestLink, Grafana, Selenium, Appium

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Stay on the leading edge of development practices

• Speak English. French is a plus

• Comfortable traveling 25% of the time

• A permanent internet connection (Savics will support the monthly fees)
