Maersk Cameroon is looking for an organized, driven, and experienced candidate to take up the role with our Declaration and Process Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all customs operations are completed in compliance with the various procedures related to this activity (Customs tariff, customs code, regulations, etc.) and performed in a timely manner. Main Responsibilities:

• Initialization of Export, Import, hinterland files in E-GUCE system
• Request the authentication of BESC at CNCC office
• Request of insurance in E-GUCE system
• Codification of declarations (Import, Export, Airfreight)
• Registration of codified declarations in CAMCIS system
• Instantaneous update of Trakit system
• Validation of declaration and follow-up for liquidation
• Transmission of files for Dispatching
• Checking of conformity of final documents: AVI, LVE, SCL, Guarantee Letter
• Transmission and follow-up of files within various administrations: SEPBC, CUSTOMS, PAD, GEPHYS, MINFOF
• Initiation of Import declaration in the E-force system and CAMCIS
• Weekly report of Export files

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in declarations and clearance with proven track record in handling customs and transit operations, import and export/road and air/border crossing for commodities, particularly agri-commodities (cocoa, cotton, wood)
• Thorough knowledge of CAMCIS and EGUCE
• Proactive and complex problem solving minded
• Strong independent drive to achieve success in your work
• Fluency in French and good working knowledge of English
